According to our dear friend Tom Zuijd99 (109 family tree at http://www.xs4all.nl/~tozu/me109/index.htm ), the Me109R was simply a code for the Me 209, while the page http://www.equatorstudio.com/gallery.php?l...stroud&pageno=7 presents another silhouette with this name, very beautiful, reminding the Me 309:

Is this a total vision Me 209? That could be scratch-build from a 209 racer (Huma 1/72 at http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=HM2503 )? Where to take the canopy from?
I let the experts (Tom?) explain us, while I will simply draw a Mustang derivative, as far as I am concerned...

Tophe,

You could probably use a Me-262 canopy - with a little modification it might work.  Another option would be a Yak-9 canopy.

This one is totally new to me! It looks like a mix between the 109, the 209 V-1 and 209 V-5. I will look at home if I can find any more info on this one.

Thanks Tophe for the heads-up.
