Very nice.
Thorvic mentioned these to me this morning and I was luckily able to pick up an F-16XL for a nice £5.

Damn, I can't find any XL models around my area outside the 1/144 hobbycraft. Anyone know where(online or otherwise) where i can get a 1/72?

They are getting quite rare these days - glad I've already got another 3 in various stages of construction :)

The Revell 1/32 one seems to be relatively plentiful though.

Thanks for all the positive feedback folks :D

Or Kangnam (IIRC), but I believe that both 32nd kits are in need of major sugery to get them to look like a XL (like it matters rgt? ;) )

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

When I visited Hungate's in Chesapeake back in February, they had a pile of 1/144 Mini Hobby Models kits, including a couple of F-16XLs.  These appeared to be the same pile that was there at Christmas, and they're liable to still be there.

I just noticed that it was a deltawinged F16, so here are some ideas somebody might wanna try too do:
Swedish, Danish, Finnish or Austrian in Draken scheme.

Canards (Gripen type).

Canards with wings moved a bit aft.

Mig 21 configuration (delta with tail planes)

Lightning configuration (semi delta (like on the lightning) and tail planes like the lightning)

I dont have any F16 delta/E/F, so i cant do any of them yet, but maybe someone will get some inspiration.

I like them both, especially the WW version
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

There is a Heller F-16XL in 1/144 available on Ebay. It is one of my 'must-get' kits. It is cheap at $8 plus postage.
Unfortunately the seller won't accept Paypal from overseas buyers but he will post overseas  .

List of every F-16 kit out there!

I'll keep on looking. BTW, love those camo XL's, just how they should look!

I dont use E-bay, coz ive heard of many unpleasant examples of people receiving only half the kits, missing parts etc.

Shasper

For about the last 8 months or so I've used ebay and been quite pleased w/t results. It always helps to ask the seller if everything is there (if it aint advertised in the 1st place), I make a point of that and to get factory sealed items.
