Anyone know what the bomb in the Airfix kit is supposed to be. Looking at its shape and size I think its the early Red Beard weapon ( TSR.2 was supposed to be able to carry one of these ).

Red Beard pics

The kit weapon looks too big to be the WE.177 - TSR.2 was supposed to be able to fit two of these in its weapons bay, and there's no way two of the items in the kit would fit.

According to TSRjoe the Bomb represented the Test shape for the Red Beard that was supplied to Vickers when designing the bomb bay. The Actual Red beard is slightly bigger and of a different shape.

Actual bomb loads for the Airfix TSR2 are currently in development and hopefully we should have some news on them at the Scottish Nationals in Perth at the end of the month.

Hmmm, seeing hat I have the Belcher british nukes set in my draw, I think that I may well do one of my Eagle's as a nuke armed bird.

I've obviously spent waaaaay too much time driving. I first noticed the wheels on the cart and thought of them as regular size truck tires, and thought 'that's one helluva big bomb'. Then I noticed the bloke standing beside it and my mind made him out to be about 35ft tall.  :o

Unfortunately his idea of international ordering is to post him your credit card details and signature - hasn't he ever heard of credit card fraud ? :o

On the plus side I've contacted a hobby shop in Ottowa which deals with Belcher Bits and do take online payment - they are getting a set in for me :D

Anyone else wanting stuff from Belcher the folk I'm dealing with are contactable via e-mail at hobcen@magma.ca . I found them via their ebay ad http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Belcher-Bits-1-48-RA...1QQcmdZViewItem
