She may not have 15 inch guns, but in her time, she was a front line warship. By today's standard, she'd be in the Frigate class, but when last in action she was one great fighting ship. I did a run on her, last year sometime, (don't remember) but now she had a full paint job, waterline to the top of the mast.
I know the hardest bit of the finished build will be, the crew...............not the fighting crew, you can get them, no, I mean the rowers! Then again, I could make her hull and mount her on a stand..................but where would the fun be in that?

Treme, Trojan wars.
Scale, 1/72
Construction, fibreglass and evergreen.

How many rowers?  That sounds like a lot of converting of Preiser figures in 1/72.  Then, it sounds like you want to turn this into a diorama.....Definitely the sign of a true masochist.  Could I perhaps interest you in a root canal without anesthesia while listening to the Sponge Bob Square pants theme full blast? it very nice, but perhaps you could add a hand, matchbox or coins so we can see the size better. To me it looks awefully small.

Wow, that thing is turning out really well, Glenn. There was a link on FSM about small scale rowers...I'll see if I can find it.

That is going to be super with figures !

Don't forget to add the drummer, and someone with a whip.

Somehow I suspect that the latter will be more readily available in female form.

Cool.  I can't wait to see how this one turns out.  We don't see nearly enough of this kind of thing these days.
