I got to work on the 1/72 scale Banshee this weekend so here are a few progress shots.

1st up the cockpit area. The pilots flightsuit isn't really as bright as the photos show, the flash really brightened it up.

Next up front views, tail is taped into place roughly where it will sit.

Next up, three quarter view so you can kind of get a feel for the overall look.

Daaamn Jeff that looks MEAN with a V-tail! I'm impressed with your vision in conjuring up this one!

I'm loving this looks like a recon bird from the Skunk works. U-1 1/2 ?

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I built a Banshee T-Tail once but I honestly like your V-Tail version much, much better.  Genius idea.  Like the Fouga Magister (?) only better in everyway!

Going to be quite convincing, isn't it?  Are you trying to single-handedly kill off all of the JMN's ?  Fantastic work !

Brian and Greg, thanks for the compliments :)

Leigh, the kit came with an alternate nose for a recon version but I opted not to use it. Now you have me thinking maybe I should

Barry, thanks for the link to the Magister, I hadn't heard of it before...very similar indeed.

Hope to get to work on it some more this weekend.

Not sure what paint scheme to use. I kinda like the idea of the dark blue scheme but am not set on it yet. Any suggestions?

I'm thinkin' black might look pretty good ;)

Doesn't look like I'm going to get any model time this weekend :(  Yardwork all day today and I'm exhausted. It's the first weekend it hasn't rained in about two months so the weeds were Waaaay outta control.

Tomorrow is house cleaning day because we are having the new windows installed Tuesday and we have to make sure they are all accessible from inside and out wich means shuffling some furniture to the garage until they are done.

I'm thinking maybe I can work on models a bit tuesday while I'm home watching the window guys but it will probably be to hectic.

Sweet.  Very, very sweet!  You'd probably have done a good job on the kit strictly OOB, but that V-tail is something special!
