Cool.
Using a tail wheel is, um, brave, considering the engine arrangement.  :P

Well, if the intake is under the cockpit, then a taildragger would be better, as a nosewheel would kick dirt into the engine.

I like that and the Russians did have a least a couple of P51's

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very cool indeed...

I did this drawing some time back. I like your version better though.

Great job! I like the concept very much.Is that some kind of jet blast deflection device in front of the tailwheel?  I have a P-40 that is going to meet it's fate very soon in this fashion........ :)  Your English is good, by the way. Welcome to the forum of different ideas B)

 Congratulations, Hotte... This Mustang is so special, so nice...
3 questions:
- Where are the tailplanes coming from? A Yak kit?
- Could you take a profile picture for us to appreciate the jet air intake (and for me to include one more P-51 profile in my collection: Yakottelev Yak-51?)...
- Will you add a canopy, or leave the model as it is, like for maintenance or something?
Anyway, thanks for this wonderful first post. :D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
