Anigrand Future release - bottom of page

BELL PROPOSAL
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Arnold wrote back and said the C-17 patterns have been started....

mmm...gotta start saving up now.

Trumpeter, as well, if that comes to pass.

Revell's invited if they want to play, too.

found on the Smallscalemodels mailing list. These haven't made it to Anigrand's website yet.

Quote1. 1/72 scale Myasishchev M-17 Stratosfera is expected in the USA
around Mid-May. This plane is the USSR counter-part to the Lockheed U2
or TR-1. More details on our web site a soon as we get them.

2. 1/144 scale Convair YB-60 is expected in early June. As with the
other 1/144 HUGE kits, it will include some escort fighters. The
XF-88A, XF-90, and the YF-93A are included but in 1/144 scale this time.

3. 1/72 scale is the Convair XA-41. It is expected in late June now.
It was intended to be a dive bomber and long range fighter in late
WWII. But, then current aircraft could perform the duties the A-41 was
intended for, so it was cancelled

4. ** MORE C-17s. No kidding!! These are intended for delivery in
July, but they will be in 1/144 SCALE this time. It will come in 2
versions; USAF and RAF. At this time there is not much more
information on these planes. Due to the incredible demand on the 1/72
C-17s it was decided to produce in 1/144. They will be easier and
faster to produce. ))

The 1/72 Scale C-17 will be back in stock again shortly. The last 50
are being produced at this time, and then the kit will be
discontinued. We expect the conclusion to be this summer. Order now if
you want one. Once discontinued, I expect they will nearly double on
E-Bay.

They will discontinue the C-17? I havent even seen pictures of it on the internet!  :o

Might this be due to possible rumors that revell or some other manufacturer are mulling plans to make a kit?

Fantastic news! A french navy machine would be awesome...
The french navy actually considered a program similar to the Missileer in the mid -60's. Competitors were the Breguet Br.1170 and Dassault Etendard V
The Breguet was rather similar to the Douglas project...

French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

This just ain't fair!  I just went to Arnold's actual site (www.anigrand.com) and he's got a Tu-126 Moss listed with silhouettes of three Soviet EW aircraft in 1/144 as bonus planes.  One of them is the Yak-44 Carrier based AEW plane!

NOT FAIR!!!  My credit card is still crying foul after my last order from Arnold...
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one:
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods:
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Beriev P42 and  Ka-31?

Think it should read AEW not EW and the aircraft are the Ka-£! AEW helix and probably the An-71 Madcap but using the An-72 Coaler drawing instead

QuoteAs someone who has had a Valkyrie in 72nd, all I can say is good luck!

Actually, Anigrand's Valk will be 1:144.

Seeing as Italeri has a lot of the AMT moulds, maybe we will see an Italeri re-box of it someday.

About the Missileer... I think there was a CF-100 variant (mk8, if I remember well) which was proposed with Bendix Eagle. It was in June 1959, after the Arrow disaster... anybody to marry Hobbycrap canuck with Anigrand Eagles ?
