The J-20 is out now and the parts pic is on this page. http://www.anigrand.com/AA2102_J-20.htm

The XCH-62 HLH is out and thonly extra Ican ID at the moment is the Sikorsky CH54A Tarhe/Skycrane. thought the first might be a Bell 47J Ranger but it is not. The third seems to be some STOL or Tilt Rotor design that is familiar looking but I can't remember what it is!
Parts pic is here and if anyone can ID the others feel free to have a go at "Guess The  Silhouette"! http://www.anigrand.com/AA4062_XCH-62.htm

Added to future releases are the Messerschmitt Me264 V-1 and Shaanxi KJ-200 AWACS version of the Yun-8 which is based on the An12, both in 1/144th scale. No idea on extra kits yet.

Extra kits in the R3Y-2 Tradewind are the Convair XFY-1 Pogo, Bell model 61 HSL ASW chopper and the Vought Cutlass. http://www.anigrand.com/AA4063_R3Y-2.htm

I've seen the Boeing 314 in the 'flesh' and while it looks OK it also has a major problem:
the kit has the single vertical fin and rudder originally used on the prototype rather than
the triple-tail that was fitted to correct directional stability problems and used on all production
aircraft.

So to build the kit with the 'C-98' (which was purely a bookkeeping designation) markings that
come in the box the outboard vertical fin/rudder assemblies will have to be scratch-built and the
rudder hinge line filled on the fuselage mounted vertical assembly.

Another typical Anigrand pooch of an obvious airframe feature.  :banghead:

pyro-manic

What a bizarre omission, especially given that the artwork shown on their page shows the outboard fins clearly. Though scratching a pair of fins wouldn't be too difficult, and Anigrand could conceivably add them in to a later production run without too much difficulty, that's a bit of a blow given the price of the kit to begin with...
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Rare Plane detective who took over the Anigrand USA mention they are issuing the kit with both tail options, so it may just be the initial batch that omitted the triple fin tail. Might be an idea to contact Anigrand regarding the optional parts.

To be correct, Rare-Plane Detective took over Nostalgic Plastic --

who had the tie in with Anigrand.  Anigrand USA from what I was told by Jeff (owner of Rare-Plane) is now defunct.

Which makes little sense as only the prototype had the single fin/rudder, and then only for a short time.

Anyhow the prototype had three tail configurations:
Single fin/rudder; twin fins/rudders; and the final triple tail with the twin-tail combined with a
centre fixed fin of the same size as the original fin/rudder.

Another screw up in the kit is that the USN multi-tone blue aircraft, NC18605, was not one of the four
Army requisitioned aircraft that were designated C-98, it was one of five the USN acquired directly from
Pan-American, all of which were simply designated B-314 while in USN service.
Nor were the BOAC aircraft ever designated "C-98".

This is all easily attained information.

Not sure if you guys are aware of this, but Anigrand is mastering a P.1214 in 1/72 for Fantastic Plastic:

I would like one of those, it would make a good S.H.A.D.O aircraft, or maybe even a U.S.M.C  fast CAS bird.

Dudes, check out the 1/144 bonus kits that will come with the KJ-200 "Balance Beam" PLAAF AWACS:

A J-20, a WZ-10, and a J-10.

Now that I know Arnold's doing them, time to see how much he'll sell them for separately  ;D

EDIT:

Also, the bonus kits for the Messerschmitt Me.264V-1 and the Caspian Sea Monster are also up.

G'day Gang,

If you've got a chunk of change to part with (and a house extension to display it), Anigrand are releasing a 72nd Galaxy.

What the devil are the bonus kits with the Ekranoplan? One would seem to be a Yak 15, but the other two defeat me. A Soviet Pogo? And a Twin Blanik perhaps? The mind boggles............
