Lovely looking castings, but........

The Windsor is just too bl**dy ugly for me!  Which I guess is rich coming from someone who thinks the HP Heyford has that certain 'something'!

I've got a Contrail vacform Windsor that I keep looking at, and then putting it away again......

Same here.

I may be tempted by this one

Mines the Sanger offering (same kit I think), but it's missing the bomb aimers window.  I wrote to Sanger and the answer I got was they don't have a mould for it.  Seems it's gone missing sometime -- going to use the set of Merlin 85's I got from Martin on it too --

This thread is steadily drifting off topic, but WTH......

Isn't the bomb aimer's window the one under the nose? That's a pretty simple shape and it might be possible to 'reverse engineer' one from an original.

And yes, the Sanger kit is the same mould as the Contrail one, so I'll have a look at mine and see if that idea is worth pursuing
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just to bring the thread back onto topic. I have just recived the new VFW-Fokker VAK-191B kit. Looking at the castings Anigrand have upped their game a little ;D

While at the same time, upping their prices as well  :banghead:

Just checked on Hannants, nigh on 60 quid for a Harrier-a-like! :o
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I didnt pay that much, but more than I would have preferred.

This one is on sale at Hannants at the moment: "only" £45, although for a transport type plus three fighter-sized things in 1/144th that doesn't seem too terrible.

And the Magna Models one in 1/72  ---  got one too  ;D  (as an aside, it's practically the same size as the A400M)

Would very much like to put together their kit of the XP-67 Moonbat. Not much build-info (if at all) on Yagoogle. Anyone built this beauty? Any tips on this kit would be gratefully received.

NARSES2

I've got it in the stash but as yet unbuilt. Looks very good. I've built the old Czech Master one which has so few pieces it was a doddle
