Nice to see the coming soon page was finally updated, but with only two kits!  Curious to see what Arnold's got planned beyond the Super Savage.  Glad he put out the Savage.  I've got the Rareplanes Vacform and the Mach 2... thing, and I just haven't had the mental stamina to try either.  When I save up, that Savage is getting added to my stash.

Pulled out a few of the Anigrand kits I've got in the stock and am reminded how impressed I am with his work.  Too bad they're so bloddy expensive!!!

Now if he'd get around to making a CL-84, he'd have all the cool tilt-wing/rotor/engine aircraft from the 60's.

EDIT:  Never mind on the future releases.  Just found on the Blog Green Dragon posted a link to there's a bunch of 1/144 kits he's planning (Luftwaffe 4-in-1 Special Set! (1/144 Junkers Ju-288,1/144 Focke-Wulfe FW-1911/144 Dornier Do-317, 1/144 Arado - Ar340), a 1/144 Beriev A-40 Mermaid, 1/144 C-141 A/B Starlifter, 1/144 Short SA.4 Sperrin, and 1/144 Myasishchev 3M Bison).

No mention of 1/72 kits coming.

Blue Donkey 99's blog Kampfgruppe144 has posted some info on the Anigrand 1/144th scale Beriev A-40 "Albatross". http://kampfgruppe144.blogspot.com/2009/09/1144-scale-beriev-40-mermaid-albatross.html
Extra kits are the Kamov Ka27 "Helix", Beriev R-1 and, possibly, the Moskalyov SAM-29 (RM-1) Strela.

Another Star Wars release that's sneaked up!

A MC80 'Liberty Class' Cruiser, the Mon Calamari ship that was famously commanded by Admiral Ackbar in Return of the Jedi.  It's in 1/2256 scale, has a limited run of 100 & is accompanied by a GR-75 Rebel Transport & a Millenium Falcon in the same scale.  Not cheap at $138 plus $25 shipping, but impressive....
http://www.anigrand.com/AA6005_MC-80_cruiser.htm

Follows on from their 1/144 Millenium Falcon.  Arnold also has a 1/144 scale Lambda Class Imperial Shuttle planned, as well as an Avenger Class Star Destroyer in 1/2256 scale.  The MC80 & Avenger are the same scale as the Revell Venator Class Star Destroyer.

The Future Release page has been updated with 1/144th Bomber B set http://www.anigrand.com/AA3004_B-bombers.htm scheduled for November and the 1/72nd Fokker V-8 http://www.anigrand.com/AA2091_V-8.htm due December.
I think someone on here did a Fokker V-8 recently?

I see that Arnold released his A-40 Mermaid kit.  Anyone know the size difference between it and the Be-200?  I've got a Be-200 kit from Russia, and am curious about the size difference.

The 'Mermaid' is quite a bit larger, at 136 ft span and 189000 lbs AUW as against 107 ft and 90000 lsb AUW for the Be-200.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Gods, I want to get my hands on some of the Anigrand stuff - like... a fair few of the bombers.  Awesome stuff, if I can ever find the damn budget to get it!!!
