Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You'd better hope it comes with steel undercarriage if its a solid fuselage.

Gondor

Actually Arnold does the fuselages and and wings hollow, yes they are thick resin but are way better than the solid examples the likes of Magna would use. Anigrand also do metal gear for their larger aircraft such as the C-17  so the C-5 would be the same. To be honest it should look quite good buts its still going to be huge and havy to handle in additon to the cost !!!.

Just imagine the boasting rights, though.  My model is way bigger than yours!   :o

No room for the C-5 but I might be tempted by the 1/144th Tradewind and Shin Meiwa US-2 (I seem to be into flying boats at the mo!).

Things are looking up, that's three 1/72 C-5 kits you can get now, Blackbird Models (renamed Delta Aviation), Anigrands and this one by Roberts Combat Models

And they are big too, ID Models drawing of the Blackbird Models kit overlaid with a C-17 and a 747

Parts pic of the 1/144th SR-91 Aurora kit (includes what appears to be the Loral shape Stealth fighter that Monogram did as the F-19 and a UCAV of some sort) due out July 20th. http://www.anigrand.com/images/items/AA6011_Aurora/AA6011_Aurora_parts.gif
Also they are doing what looks like the SR-75 (called Brilliant Buzzard) in 1/144th and I assume the XR-7 will be included. http://www.anigrand.com/catalog_sci-fi-1.htm

The new sci-fi dynamics stuff actually interests me more than the Star Wars stuff.  My wallet hates Anigrand.

Ooooh!  Firefox in 1/144!!!  Did anyone mention the Mirage G.8 in 1/72?  Plus a Nimrod AEW.3, Tradewind, Ju.352 & Renzan in 1/144.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

It's getting really annoying with so many kits in a set. I've seen several 'bonus' kits now that I want, but I'm not about to spend $100 to get a $10 kit.

Anigrand Mirage G-8 is out and it looks very nice, working VG wings in resin, optional nose and Tail fins.
