What the devil are the bonus kits with the Ekranoplan? One would seem to be a Yak 15, but the other two defeat me. A Soviet Pogo? And a Twin Blanik perhaps? The mind boggles............

The "Soviet Pogo" looks like a Yurjev (Yuriev) Kit-1 (or Kit-2).

Now THAT is amazing! I've never heard of that before, thanks for the link. And with a title like that I should have heard of it.... 

It looks totally weird, and almost workable too. Maybe Comrade Yuriev used a P-39 cockpit for the centre section, and even the fuselage aft of it too, as the engine is rear mounted.

Hmmn.  Athough my interest in RAF stuff stops in 1965, I will  get one of these.  5 squadron markings are definite.

Does look very nice indeed, might have to splurge on that. Always liked BAe's X-Wing. 
Bombs look a bit odd but IIRC they looked the same on the company 3-view, model and mockup.

In the last month and a half, he's come out with some insane kits!

Back on Oct. 27th, he released the 1/144 Piasecki Helo that incliuder the YH-16 Transporter that included 1/144 versions of two of their retired kits (XV-1 and VZ-4), and an HH-34.

On Nov. 4th, he released the 1/72 C-133 Ballistic Missile Carrier that didn't include the ballistic missile that the C-133 was supposed to carry.

On Nov. 25th, Arnold released the 1/72 VC-25A Air Force One 747 variant.  In a brilliant move, Arnold included parts for the 747-400, which allows for my VC-33B Air Force One variant.  Only if I'm insane, that is.  The cost is prohibitive for me (but might not be for other Whiffers).

Finally, on Nov. 29th, he released the 1/144 scale  Douglas C-69 Constellation that includes some 1/144 prop planes I can't ID right now (I could if I wanted to, but I don't want to).

'Ceptin ya can't actually make a -400 from the kit as a -400 is not just a -200 with extended upper deck and winglets.
You can make an extended deck -300, sort of, because based on their parts photos, the wings are wrong for any 747. Unlike
the Anigrand parts, the leading edge of the 747 wing is not a straight line, the leading edge sweep angle decreases at roughly
mid-span.

It is an obvious shape error that is par for the course with Anigrand, for the money they charge they could at least get
the basics correct.

Not to mention the wing root fairings, both fore and aft of the wing are radically different on a -400 too.

Revell managed to screw that up with their first crack at a -400 and amazingly re-tooled the fuselage moulds to correct it on the later versions!

Yep, that's a 1/144th Vickers Windsor, with an HP.75 Manx, a Baynes Bat and a Vickers 432 thrown in for good measure.....

A pity it's not 1/72, but then I'd never be able to afford it if it was. I've got a Contrail vacform Windsor that I keep looking at, and then putting it away again......
