Well, I never said they were airplanes  , they are figures from the Preiser 1/48 scale Luftwaffe Pilots and ground crew set.

This Preiser set is good value for the money and it includes extra arms and heads so it gives you several choices in posing the figures. I will be getting another one of these sets soon.

You've really got it goin' on now! Those figures really add something to your work. Outstanding! B)

Thanks Eddie,

Now I need to finish my Kettenkraftrad and Staff car to go with those figures, also I want to build one of those new Tamiya He 162s because they come with two engine pods that are designed to be interchangable on the completed model, one with the cowling open and the other closed. This would be ideal for my purposes! I have read that the canopy can also be closed and opened on this model without losing any detail like the old Monogram kits did in the 1960s.

They do look good and gives a nice feeling for the scale of things

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nice figures, Matrixone! They really bring your dioramas to life. With those little guys in there, you'd have no trouble gas-lighting the JMNs into believing you found a treasure trove of hitherto undiscovered wartime black and white photos. Great work, sir!

Thanks very much Chris and Brian!

One of the new Tamiya He 162s or 1/48 scale Eduard Fw 190s would look good with these figures, the soon to be released Eduard Fw 190 kits have the gun hood and engine cowling molded seperate which will allow the modeler the option of building them open to show off the weapons and engine. I can't wait to build one!
